Why did I choose this set of dice?

There are lots of places that will sell you metal dice. Some are cheaper, some are more expensive, but I choose the Mythica Platinum Onyx over other metal dice for two reasons: 1. Rounded corners. The rounding on the metal edges really makes these dice much nicer to hold and use than some other metal dice I’ve had. They just feel good in your hands. Also less chance of damage if you accidentally drop them on a nice wood table. 2. High contrast between the numbers and the background. My eyes aren’t what they used to be and my second criteria for a set of dice was that they were easy to read. The bright silver on the deep black background just makes them very easy for me to use. To me this was worth the cost, and having used them for several game nights now I am glad I made what some might consider an indulgent purchase. I find them worth it.
